Report on the 3rd review meeting, the 2nd and 3rd October

LORE last Review Meeting was held at Lisbon on 2^nd and 3^rd of October. EPAL, the Portuguese User partner, hosted the meeting in their headquarters. This review meeting was crucial for the project since the Consortium had to demonstrate and show the LORE portal running at the User site on the basis of real data coming from EPAL, involving people from the end-user departments that took part in the experiment. We are very pleased to say that we reached the goal successfully since the reviewers’ comments were more than satisfactory.

The Agenda of this third Review Meeting included the presentation of five deliverables and a complete overview of the living system running in a real environment and on the basis of real data:

D17, K-portal services analysis and design report
D20, K-portal development and integration report
The two prototypes foreseen for the period Automatic Feedback Module software (D13) – and Knowledge Map software (D19) were presented in the context of the demonstration of the whole system.
D21, Mid-Dissemination and Use Plan

All the deliverables were accepted and charged with Green. The LORE portal demonstration started from the LORE server in EPAL, and proceeded connecting the Sopheon server in Amsterdam. People from Sopheon supported the demonstration in Amsterdam and the same time as people in EPAL.

Social Dinner

The host of the meeting, EPAL, invited the whole Consortium and the Reviewers for a dinner at a typical Portuguese restaurant in the downtown Lisbon, called “O Forcado”.

The dinner was very enjoyable having Portuguese folk music and traditional Portuguese dance…. our Project Co-ordinator, Gianni, was very impressed with the Portuguese female dancers!!!
